Neon is slowly making a comeback on the streets of Vancouver. Dunn’s Tailors has reinstalled its canopy sign on Granville Street now that Canada line construction is over.
On Carrall Street the renovations to the Rainier hotel are complete, along with a new reproduction of the 1940s neon sign.
In Chinatown there’s the new Bao Bei restaurant in Chinatown – great food – with a nicely done pink, white and green neon sign.
Next up should be the new Chinatown Plaza sign on Keefer at Quebec – all 50 feet of it.
