Vancouver wins inaugural Guangzhou International Award for urban innovation

The City of Vancouver has won the inaugural Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation for its Greenest City and housing affordability initiatives. Granville Street in its Heyday

Great Moments in Park Board History

In 1919 it was suggested that the board put on open air movies in Stanley Park. Not sure it was approved. That same year the Board put aside a flower bed to grow poppies “from Flanders Field”.
